Google Trends has released it's year end Zeitgeist report for Uganda with Bobi Wine ranking number one under the 'Most Searched People' for the year 2013. Using his facebook profile, Bobi Wine who could not hide his excitement wrote: "So according to Google, I'm the most searched celebrity in Uganda, I'm honored." Chris Brown and Rihanna followed in that order and the 'Ndisa Butti' star, Bebe Cool was fourth. The top ten list did not have any more Ugandans. Kim Kardashian, Messi, Obama, Konshens, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj are the other top names in the 'Most Searched People' list. In the just released lists, Google Trends also featured the top institutions with Makerere University at the top followed by Uganda Revenue Authority. Then came the list of 'Most Searched News Sites' with New Vision at the top followed by Daily Monitor and Bukedde. Red Pepper and Weekly Observer were also among the top ten. Ugandans were also interested in knowing about Love, development and the Internet but when it came to Health, not even AIDS was number one as Stress took the number one position followed by Health in general, Ovulation, bloating and then AIDS. Schizophrenia, a disease that the 'fake' interpreter at the Mandela funeral claimed to be suffering from came in at number ten. Short of that, other top searches in the year were more to do with English football, death or unique situations. Among the dead are Eriya Kategaya, James Mulwana, Stephen Malinga and UBC's news anchor, Susan Namasaba.
