Morris and Josephine on air
NTV news anchor, Gabriel Epenu is out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and can smile. He was involved in a car accident on November 23, 2013 when he lost control after knocking a truck.

His lover, Iryn Namubiru is pretty excited with the new year so far. "And the best News 2014 is; he is out of Intensive Care Unit, My God has never failed me!"
Iryn Namubiru's latest tweet on Gabriel Epenu's condition

More information on his condition was availed by fellow workmate and also NTV news anchor, Josephine Karungi Musisi.

"To answer the much asked question in my inbox...Gabriel is doing so much better, I'm sure one of these days he will take a selfie to just to show you that soon, he will be on his feet. Your support has been overwhelming. I'm sure his family and Gaby himself are thankful for you. Keep praying."

With Gabriel having been down for over a month and Nancy Kacungira crossing to KTN TV in Kenya, there has been a new anchor only identified as Mabel trying to bridge the gap.
