Paddy Bitama's burial delayed
Paddy Bitama was to be buried on Monday, January 13, 2014 but that program has since changed and it could take up to 5 days before the fallen comedian can be buried.

This follows a one Peter Kasozi sticking to his guns that Paddy Ssali aka Bitama is his son, and, must be buried at his ancestral home. At the same time, the known family members to the late Paddy Bitama as expected, were ready to have him buried yesterday with his grave neatly done, but they might have to wait a little longer.

Police Intervenes
Police was forced to intervene on the advise of Peter Kasozi. On Monday morning, police stormed the National Theatre where his body was lying for public viewing and took it to Mulago Hospital where it's being tightly guarded after two parties, from different clans are claiming the body.

Paternity Tests
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) paternity samples have now been taken from Ronald Ssali, Paddy Bitama's brother and Peter Kasozi who claims to be the real father to ascertain if these two (Paddy, Peter) are actually related. The results will either exclude Peter Kasozi or include him as the biological father.

How Long Will This Take?
Express paternity tests take between 12 to 72 hours, but standard tests go up to 5 days. Given the confusion at hand, both parties have to wait because a DNA test is the most accurate genetic identification test available.

Last Friday, it was rumoured that Paddy Bitama was dead which turned out to be a death hoax, but a day later, Paddy Bitama died but many still doubted. Friends and family including Peter Kasozi went to Nansana where his body was to prove, but unfortunately for Peter, he was chased by comedians and die hard fans to The Amarula Comedy group.

Peter Kasozi had to involve police and that is how events have unfolded so far.
