The Ex-Wafagio singer, Edith Muthoni, who was part of the all-girl pop group with their debut song, 'Mukidongo Club Version Wafagio ft Coco Finger' is dead. She died on Saturday morning at her parents home in Kasese. She has been ill for sometime and only returned from China two weeks back. The singer who appeared in the 'Sula Indicator' video died of cancer. Edith worked closely with Leila Kayondo of the Amazing fame, and Coco Finger among others who were at the time under Xscape Star Agency managed by Emma Carlos and Earl. Other than Mukidongo, Wafagio were known for songs like 'Wekyakalire', 'Love Doctor'. Citing irreconcilable differences, they disbanded the group to form another girl group they called Krystal Babes that had Sheila, Aggie, Linda and Edith. Edith will be buried today at her ancestral home in Kasese.
