The World's Music Awards are redifining the who is who in the music industry after our very own artists were nominated for the 2014 awards. Chameleone made it to the World's Best Male Artist and our 2013 BET Nominees, Moze Radio and Weasel have also been nominated in the World's Best Group Category, becoming the first Ugandan group to make it to the World Music Awards. In that category, over 240 groups have been lined up for the nod ranging from Backstreet Boys, Bon Jovi, Boyzone, Destiny's Child, Mafikizolo and Nigeria's dynamic duo, P-Square. Twelve groups from Africa are among the over 240 groups nominated. Moze Radio and Weasel broke away from Chameleone in 2008 and six years later, they are rubbing shoulders with their mentor on the same global platform only that they are dealing with him as a team. Voting is underway on http://vote.worldmusicawards.com/selectnomination.asp?cat=6.
