Royce Mubiru had resumed work thinking it was a minor wound

Royce Mubiru Kakebe was killed by tetanus on Wednesday evening. It got into his system through a wound on his right arm. While covering a boat cruise this January, Royce took shots of Percy who is not a stranger to compromising positions, something that upset her. She confronted Royce almost immediately demanding that he deletes the photos to which he declined.

A few minutes later, she came back with a broken bottle demanding that, Royce deletes the shots or she stabs his head. Royce declined saying that he had taken a random photo. Percy aimed the broken piece on Kakebe's head, but, he was quick to protect himself with his right arm and that is how the wound comes about.

An assault case was reported on January 19, 2014 and Percy was arrested on February 15, 2014. She was released two days later after Kakebe had reportedly forgiven her. Police is now hunting for her in connection to this murder.

Kakebe's wound had since not healed, but that did not stop him from resuming his duties. On March 7, 2013, he collapsed. He was treated at the intensive care unit at Mulago Hospital, Kampala, but efforts to save him failed and he died on March 12, 2014, almost four months after the stabbing.

Kakebe was buried yesterday at his ancestral home in Wakiso District. He worked with Vision Group's Bukedde, The Kampala Sun and New Vision. He is survived by a wife and two daughters.

This is how Percy behaves on a good night out and any average papparazzi would not miss such moments and yet they are out there to grab moments like these.
