The members who split from Eagles Production a few weeks back went on to form another group they branded Golden Production. Unfortunately, that name was already under use by another company forcing them to register the new group as Golden Band. The name change comes at the time when they are battling with promoter Balaam who is demanding Shs 320 from them under their old group, Eagles Production, which they have since left or else they perform at his Easter concerts. A theatrical performer, Kato Lubwama, while appearing on Dembe FM's Kasuku live noted that the two groups are bound to survive provided they stick to certain principles. "Lutaaya is self-centered, but if he can drop the habit, he will thrive. Then the other members are all good in their respective ways with their music appealing to many, but, should work as a team and not think of themselves as individuals, they will make it," Kato Lubwama said.
