Buganda Premier introducing the Vision Group boss to the Kabaka
It was a slippery course this morning as athletes graced the morning downpour to celebrate the 59th birthday of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi. It was a 21km, 10km and 5km race. Police spokesperson, Judith Nabakooba, Rubaga South MP Ken Lukyamuzi, International Hospital Kampala's Dr. Ian Clarke were among those that participated in the marathon.

Others included Prince David Wasajja. Golola did not run, though, he was seen busy massaging mostly ladies who had developed muscle sprains. Proceeds from the Kabaka marathon were earmarked for the treatment of the Fistula disease which is rampant in villages.

The Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga was seen introducing some of his subjects to the Kabaka plus other dignitaries that included Vision Group's boss, Robert Kabushenga who bowed down before the Kabaka.

Runners who had crossed the finish line had to shake hands with the Buganda Premier and among them were none other than Phina Mugerwa who took off a moment from Cindy's woes to keep fit.
