I’m Not after Money, But Giving Back to Society Desire Luzinda ‘25’ has bought a car five weeks to her second concert in six years, and this is making history according to her. Using her wall, Desire wrote: “Coming from a humble background and working hard everyday…am glad to say that am the first Ugandan musician to buy a new toy 5 weeks ahead of a concert.” The Equation singer adds: “This should show you that I’m not after money when it comes to my music but giving back to society, so let’s join hands and support Ibanda Babies Home.” This message left a section of fans confused. Some wondered what this new car had to do with giving back to charity. Tickets at the Desire Luzinda Black and White Affair will be going for 100,000 and 50,000/- and 25% of the proceeds will go to charity.
