Demarco is in town and his press conference was held today at Club Silk. During the press conference, he was asked whether his song with Peter Miles was popular or known at all in Jamaica, the dance-hall star said that the 'Blessings' songs is not played at any of the Jamaican airwaves. This prompted another question of who the best Ugandan artist in Jamaica was following several collaborations that include 'Blessings' that he did with Peter Miles, 'Dilemma' by Cindy, Bobi Wine and Mr. G among others, the 'Love My Life' singer said that he does not know. This left folks in shock. In July last year, Bobi Wine told of how his 'Clean and Out' collabo with Mr. G was a hit and at some time featured among the top fifteen dance-hall songs of the week, that was not all, Bobi Wine flew to Jamaica specifically to shoot the Clean N Out video. He also held several performances while there but this was not enough to get him closer to being known according to DeMarco. "But when I'm in Uganda, all I seem to hear is Chameleone and Peter Miles,'' DeMarco added. Chameleone also has a collaboration song with Konshens. "All these songs are not played in Jamaica and for them to be played, your artistes are supposed to got to Jamaica and promote them otherwise, they will not be played." DeMarco concluded.
