EOTM of May 2014 @ Sanyu FM
James Onen aka Fatboy is the May 2014 Employee of the Month (EOTM) at Sanyu FM.
The Sanyu Breakfast show host, Fatty or Fbizzy as his fans call him has been with the station for over a decade and just last Saturday, he was celebrating 10 years of his Saturday show, 'Alive and Kicking'. His co-host Nina called in to congratulate him but he could not even recognise her voice even after giving him a tip that she speaks to him every morning.
Before communicating the good news of having strong work ethics and the best employee, Fatboy was busy blaming the radio station for not having any children at the age of 40.
"The breakfast show is the reason I am childless. That's the price for waking up at 4am everyday for 10 years." He goes o to brand this as a curse.
"The Sanyu Breakfast Curse: The longer you host Sanyu Breakfast, the risk of being childless increases. Case in point: Fatboy, Seanice, and Melanie. Crystal and Big Ben, who used to host Sanyu Breakfast, only got kids after being assigned to other shows!"
The EOTM news was shared with a portrait which unfortunately made matters worse as some were confusing it for a different occasion all together.
"It saddens me that my employee of the month photo is being confused with a funeral photo. Damn it, I worked hard in May. Don't bury me yet!"
Yesterday, on Martyrs day, Fatboy was chilling somewhere busy thinking of this 'ENIGMA' blogger who wrote an arms length article about him when a bee fell in his fizzy drink, claims that he was not going to pay for the drink fell on deaf ears as he was told to pay of face the wrath of the bouncers who were on standby.
Looking at the comments that followed, James Onen is very deserving of the EOTM award.
