Cindy

Our very own Cindy and Nigeria's Davido will be among the artistes to perform at the Amahoro Stadium today as Rwanda celebrates 20 years of Liberation. The function will be live on NTV Uganda starting mid-day. The concert which is free aims at highlighting the achievements in Rwanda for the past 20 years.

Cindy's fans in Rwanda were worried that she could not make it after her passport was confiscated in Lumbubashi, Congo where she had gone for a performance. While there, Cindy tweeted; "Just did my nails and lashes. Almost ready to blaze it up in Lumbubashi."

Unfortunately, the fans in Lumbubashi were not blazed as the organizers postponed the show and even retained Cindy's passport and yet the Ayokyayokya singer was supposed to be in Rwanda at the time.

It took the intervention of the Ugandan Embassy in Kinshasa to have her passport back. Her Management later issued a statement saying that all was well with the 'Sample Dat' singer who is now in Rwanda.
