Alpha, Beata and Bebe on their knees thanking fans
Bebe Cool was yesterday celebrating 20 years of music in a show dubbed Best of Bebe Cool. It was live on NTV from 8:30pm for at least 30 minutes and later at 10:30pm during the Koona Ne NTV show by Miles Rwamiti.
The show had about 1,400 revellers, but the VVIP section was full. As you may be aware, a table in the VVIP section was going for a cool 5 million shillings, so the game has changed. This has been branded as the best show in the year so far. Bebe Cool kicked off the show at 8:30pm and by midnight, he wrapped the show with Love You Everyday.
There were no curtain raisers, it was only Bebe, guitarist Myco Ouma and Annette Nandujja that performed. Notable among the guests were Sudhir Ruparelia, Gordon Wavamuno. He thanked them in a special way, his version of James Brown I Feel Good.
Bebe Cool's wife, Zuena speaks out; "Last night was off the hook, I must say am proud of my husband. Whoever attended the show knows what am talking about, I was super excited no wonder I was forced to step on stage & shake a lil bit. My highlight of the night was when my babies stepped on stage and surprised their dad with a bouquet of flowers, he was so emotional."
"Thanks to everyone who attended the show and sorry for those who came in late when the tickets were sold out, now let's meet in Mukono, " Zuena concluded.
Renown music critic and reggae singer, Jenkins Mukasa had this to say; "It was a well produced show and Bebe did his best. The band was tight and Michael Ouma + Nanduja did just great. All in all, it's the best Bebe cool show I have watched."
