The 'Tambula Na Mbeera' singer, Khalifa AgaNaga, was on Monday injured after two buses collided head-on around Nakasongola. 8 were confirmed dead and 20 sustained injuries. The collision was between the Gaga and KK buses. The dead were taken to Nakasongola hospital.
Khalifa was among those injured in the Gaga bus and he says; "30 injured including my Manager, Dj and two dancers. I was stuck in the wreckage for over 30 minutes but as good luck has it, my fans especially boda-boda riders with the help of an axe rescued me. They quickly rushed me to Nakasongola Hospital and later to Nsambya Hospital."
"Words can’t explain this incident but it made me believe that God works in mysterious ways because two of my neighbours’ perished in the accident, as of now, we are all fine."
Khalifa is behind songs like Oyitangayo, Mpagila Gwe among others.
