Shaggy performing at Namboole Stadium

Last Saturday was the first ever Club Mega Fest that was held at Mandela National Stadium. Several local artistes performed ranging from Yung Mulo, Ziza Bafana, Sheebah Karungi and Coco Finger among others. The function was slated to start at noon but only kicked off five hours later.

The crowd was tending to be troublesome before Jamaican dance-hall artiste, Patra hit the stage in an outfit that left a lot to be desired. She performed for about 15 minutes. The Love You Everyday singer, Bebe Cool, hit the stage doing his thing but the fans had kind of had enough of the local flow.

Jamaican-American singer, Shaggy hit the stage performing his top hits as the crowd cheered him on. He performed for an hour and half before the Wombolombo singer, Burna Boy hit the stage. He pulled out some stroke that led his pant to split right in the middle.

Mafikizolo explained why they were unable to perform.

"To all our fans who came out to see us at Namboole Stadium, unfortunately we couldn't perform due to a situation beyond our control. Our excitement to perform turned into a disappointment after waiting for 4 hours backstage to rock our fans with our hits, " They wrote.

Chameleone was meant to perform too but failed to secure a return flight from South Sudan in time.
