American RnB Singer, Joe Thomas is in town ahead of the Nile Gold Jazz Safari that will be held this Friday at Serena Hotel. During the press conference at Serena yesterday Joe said that he will put up a show far better than what he did on his previous tour in 2007.
"I'm here with my daughter and it feels great to be back in Uganda for the second time . I'm ready to perform all my songs and since we are to help a cause, Im glad to be part of Jazz Safari this year."
Joe will be performing alongside Grammy award winning guitarist, Norman Brown. Tizer band members and Cameroonian bass player, Andre Manga, will also perform.
Yesterday was their meet and greet party at Guvnor which Joe missed, but, Norman Brown was able to chat up with fans. Tonight, the Jazz artistes are expected at Zone 7, and tomorrow all roads will lead to Kampala Serena Hotel.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards the completion of Nsambya Cancer centre.
