Bebe Cool has always had issues with Bobi Wine and Chameleone but the year 2014 has seen a few things change. During the KCCA Carnival, Bebe Cool performed a Bobi Wine song only to reveal in some interview that he was paid $10,000 just to do that. On Boxing Day, it was the annual Bebe Cool's Tondeka Ekiwatule show which was well attended just like other shows in the season, but the highlight of the event was when Chameleone came on stage to perform some of his hit songs. Moments later, the music was stopped as the two stars, Bebe and Chameleone hugged and cracked jokes leaving fans screaming wild. Bebe Cool hinted on a music battle with Jose Chameleone whom he says he helped to start up his music career but now boasts of being the number one in the country. This is not surprising bearing in mind that last week, while appearing on a local TV station, Bebe Cool made it clear that this year has been very bad for Bobi Wine. "Chameleone has Wale Wale to compete with Love You Everyday but what hit song has Bobi Wine got this year?," Bebe asked. In the same interview, Bebe Cool recalled of how he was thumped by Chameleone at Club Rouge a few years back. Short of that, the show went on very well and was largely peaceful. Artistes like Maro, Hindu Asha, David Lutalo, Keko and Big Eye among others performed.
