As you may all be aware, Last Sunday was the Celebrity Sunday service at Pr. Wilson Bugembe's Light The World Church in Nansana which takes place every two years, this was the second service since inception.

Businessman, Frank Gashumba, was one of those on the invitation list, but as it turned out, he snubbed the event claiming that he's not a celebrity. Using his wall he added that; "We have no celebrities in Uganda, all you see are attention seekers."
Frank also wondered if all those who were recognised on that day as celebrities could be called upon in these other churches like All Saints, Rubaga or Namirembe to address followers the way they did in Nansana.
While appearing on NTV Koona with Miles Rwamiti on Friday night, Frank said that he is not a celebrity and actually dislikes one calling him such. I thank Pr. Bugembe because he has come a long way, but if he now has a church, it's such a good thing."
"I was invited and also given a card but I'm not a celebrity and that is the more reason I did not attend. We should be celebrating victories and achievements. If one buys a car of 4m/-, you news men write that the car is worth 40m/-. Sylvia Owori during her Style and Fashion showed your so called celebrities and they were dressed like Ambulances."
"Celebrities should have in-house services like hair stylists, chefs...A celebrity is even trained on how to walk not cross-legged like how these guys were doing on the red-carpet."
