The Sanyu Mweruka tape has been the talk-of-the town this whole week, we now look at the various camps that are on either sides of the rope.
Facebook - The very day the tape leaked, facebook profiles in the name of Sanyu Robinah Mweruka were created running apologetic messages and several bible quotes. "I hope that people learn from my mistake and I hope that the fans forgive my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense."
Those are some of the latest posts to the new account that now has close to 8,000 likes in under four days. One thing is for sure whether SRM is behind those accounts or not, she is keenly following the activity on those profiles.
Kamunye - They leaked the story and they have stood by it come rain or shine, they have also gone ahead to issue a disclaimer after Robinah said that the tape is doctored. "Fe Mukamunye Tuvumirira Abenzi Abekaza" meaning that; "At Kamunye, we are against bold and promiscuous people."
Bukedde - It was too much for them that their very own employee was making headlines elsewhere, however, they were not in a hurry to delve into the details and yet when Katongole Omuntogole was docked on defilement charges, they were quick to tell the nation.
Well, they eventually did and by 9am, the newsstands had run out of the Bukedde newspaper. In the story adopted from an interview with Robinah and Pascal, they wrote that; the tape had first leaked in the year 2010, a month before their wedding something that prompted Robinah to wonder why they were releasing it in 2015.
Sanyu Robinah Mweruka - Using the Bukedde newspaper to comment on the subject matter, her version was; "It wasn't me" in the video, I thank my husband for not falling in the traps of these con men who were also asking for shs15m/- so that they don't release the tape.
Pascal Mweruka - That tape is not new to me, I first saw it when someone sent it to me a month before our wedding in 2010, they wanted to sabotage our wedding but we found it to be fake. Sanyu told one publication last year that they had been married for seven years now, and yet between now and 2010, it's less than four years. Then the mere fact that the lady in the video has a ring implying that she was married just complicates matters.
