Full Doz TV host, Katongole Omutongole, was yesterday afternoon fired from Vision Group, owners of Bukedde TV, Urban TV and the likes. The reason for his being fired was because he could not resign from his other job with a rival company, Beat FM, owned by William Pikes. This Wednesday, Full Doz fans that have been so entertained by his 'Gwee' tagline and trademark dance will have to look forward to other hosts. Beat FM has a better package, so Katongole had to drop the Bukedde job for Beat FM where he is a Program's Director. That notwithstanding, his problems equally contributed to the sacking. A few years back, he was caught in a lodge with a married woman and just recently, he was battling with defilement charges leaving his employers with no choice but to relieve him of his duties. It should be recalled that Urban TV's gossip queen, Mary Luswata, was also forced to resign from Galaxy FM only to be assigned an additional role with 94.8 XFM, a radio station also owned by Vision Group. This came with increased pay of course. Sanyu Robinah Mweruka was also demoted from anchoring the popular ten o'clock bulletin otherwise dubbed Agataliiko Nfuufu to the mid-day news which does not require her to dress in a traditional attire (Gomesi) which was abused by the tape that went viral. She was also replaced as host of Omuntu Wa Bantu. You can as well say that, that is the action Vision Group has taken on Sanyu Robinah Mweruka and Katongole Omutongole for their various roles in denting the image of their employer.
