Fresh details have emerged in the Chameleone-Karamagi case. The DPP, Michael Chibita, has ordered that the file be re-opened following more incriminating evidence that was forwarded by the deceased's father Maj. Benedict Kyamanywa who has all along been in Somalia on state duties.
"Before his death, Karamagi who was happy to see me explained how he came to be in that situation that it was not true he was trying to kill himself, but he had been doused with aviation fuel and then set ablaze," Maj. Benedict said.
The DPP also faulted the Katwe DPC for mishandling this case, for example, they did not communicate to the late Karamagi's family members why it was decided that the file be closed.
This is coming at the time when the Wale Wale singer is preparing for 'Wale Wale Double Trouble' that will be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval on May 01, 2015.
