Fun Factory contribute over shs 2M/- to cancer patient

Former NTV news anchor, Rosemary Nankabirwa, is battling with a rare type of cancer, Adrenocortical carcinoma to be exact also called Adrenal Gland Cancer. She also has other complications that have kept her in and out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the cancer and heart institutes in Mulago referral hospital.

Friends and family have since started a fundraise drive in which over shs 100million is required for her treatment abroad. Just yesterday, Fun Factory, a comedy group in Kampala dedicated all the proceeds for the show towards the #HelpRosemary fund, they contributed over shs 2,000,000/- which was received by Faridah Nakazibwe and Florence Naluyimba.

Tomorrow, all roads will be leading to Serena Hotel where NTV staff will be washing cars at a fee of shs 50,000/-, a move that has been criticised by some who think, the fee could have been a lot lower than 50k to attract more numbers now that most car owners even struggle to pay 20k to have their own cars washed.

They also think Serena is restrictive to many, a place like Namboole or Lugogo could have been better, however, you can still contribute any amount via mobile money to Faridah Nakazibwe 0782649931 or Josephine Karungi 0776747524.
