Today, the King of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV turns 23. He assumed the throne at just a tender age of 3 earning him a title in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's youngest ruling monarch. "When I was eight years old that's when I realised the responsibility I had, who I was and what I had to do," King Oyo told a UAE based publication where he was visiting with his mom, Best Kemigisa Kaboyo early this year. King Oyo's mother has been his greatest source of support and guidance over the years, showing him how to be a proper king. All has not been well in the kingdom as Toro rebel Prince, David Kijanangoma declared himself as the new King of Tooro last week, he also gave a deadline of two months to oust King Oyo from the main palace. However, King Oyo has ruled out any reconciliation plans with prince David, a member of the royal family who wants to oust him. Princess Elizabeth Bagaya, a paternal aunt to King Oyo has since been pleading with Prince Kijanangoma to drop the plan to oust the King. Meanwhile, his sitting style at the Kabaka's birthday fete at Bulange Mengo has since been the talk of the town and on social media, the style has gone viral.
