Uganda music all day everyday is their grabber statement… The first ever 24-hour non-stop Ugandan music TV channel exclusive to those subscribed to StarTimes has launched. Channel O was playing a similar role but it has since been removed from the DSTV bouquet, FACE TV will be bridging that gap. On April 16, Face TV on Channel 102 was unveiled to the public at a cocktail function held at Serena Hotel. Bobi Wine, Cindy, Khalifa Aganaga and Natty Nathan entertained the guests. Artistes are now invited to submit their videos to Face TV offices in Bugolobi. All that is required is for the artistes to authorize FTV to play their videos by filling in a simple form and the video should be of high quality. According to Aldrine Nsubuga the Marketing Director at StartTimes, he says that Face Tv should not be mistaken for a new broadcasting house, it’s a channel on the StarTimes digital platform. "At some point it was a miraculous occurrence for a Ugandan artist to see their video get played on TV and now we have a channel that shows only Ugandan Music...Big up Face TV," Bobi Wine said.
