Local singer Harriet Kisakye was buried today at Bunnamwaya Catholic Church. The fallen singer had hinted on plans to stand for the Wakiso Woman MP on the FDC ticket but all those plans have been dashed.
Thousands attended the funeral in Bunamwaya church where the artist used to go for prayers and it was her wish that she is buried at the same church.
The Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, Rubaga South MP Ken Lukyamuzi, and former FDC leader Dr. Kizza Besigye were among the mourners. Bunamwaya police was busy as many were arrested for pick-pocketing and other related crimes.
