Bunamwaya police has impounded household property belonging to WBS TV's Straka Mwezi that was on a Fuso pick-up heading to some unknown destination.
Apparently, neighbours to Straka tipped the landlord that his tenant was shifting, this forced the landlord, Tobia Nsubuga, to head to the scene before the truck could drive off.
Tobia noted that by March 31, Straka was required to pay shs 4,550,000/- but by end of April the amount had shot to 5,150,000/- The car occupants pleaded with the landlord to allow them take the property and the arrears be settled later, but he was taking none of that.
"I wonder why they can't live within their means, MBU Celebs, now she was taking off without paying," a furious Tobias noted.
Straka was not in the vicinity at the time when the truck was being impounded, it's now left to be seen what the bulky TV star will say on Thursday during the Late Night show on WBS.
In March, another TV personality, Anita Fabiola was also evicted under similar circumstances.
