Sarah Kyolaba Idi Amin dead

Former first lady, Sarah Kyolaba Idi Amin died this afternoon at the Royal Free Hospital in London after battling with a short illness, she died aged 65. Sarah's situation became critical in the last three weeks. It's not clear if she will be buried in Uganda or in the UK. Her daughter, Hafsa, has been with her in the final moments of death.

Sarah was the fifth wife to the late Idi Amin Dada, they met when she was just 18-years-old, the wedding was on National telly for two days. Yasser Arafat who later became the President of Palestine was the best man for the wedding that was held in 1975.

They cut the wedding cake with a sword. Sarah was with the late Idi Amin until 1982 when she fled to Germany to claim for asylum and while there, Sarah Amin was a model. She later relocated to UK where she opened up a restaurant specializing in local food, it was the best restaurant for 'Luwombo' in East London, but authorities closed it when the found signs of cockroach infestation.
