Contestant number eight, Nakiyaga Zahara Muhammed (23), was crowned Miss World Uganda 2015 during the grand finale of Miss World Uganda that was held on Saturday, July 10. Twenty two contestants competed for the crown at Serena Hotel but the beauty from .
Zahara will now represent Uganda on 19 December 2015 in Sanya, China. Grace Nakimera and Lydia Jasmine were some of the performers for the night while Seanice Kacungira and Roger Mugisha were the hosts. The winner walked away with a brand new Toyota Raum car.
Contestant number 3 Aisha Nabukeera who was among the top 10 did not leave empty handed, was crowned Miss Rising Woman Uganda. Previous pageant winners, Leah Kalanguka, Stella Nantumbwe, Phiona Bizzu and Sylvia Namutebi graced the occasion.
"Done with phase one and have left God to do the rest. Thank you so much those that have had my back, voted, shared and supported me, I appreciate. Tommorow is the d-day whatever the outcome am blessed..." Zash as her close pals refer to her noted on Friday.
