Based on the CCTV footage that Guvnor submitted to the police and what Ivan and Nina wrote in their statement, it has made work very easy for the authorities to prefer murder charges against Ivan Kamyuka.
Ivan Kamuyuka says that the deceased saw them chilling out in one of the booths and came straight to them and started hurling insults, Nina did not say a word, it was then that Johnnie threw the glass to Ivan but it missed him and instead, hit Nina.
"As a man, I had to defend my wife, I picked up the broken glass and hit Johnnie with it, " Ivan noted in his statement. Other clubs are now advised to emulate Guvnor in installing CCTV's because this footage has made it easy for the detectives.
Meanwhile, Ivan has deactivated his facebook profile..In the pic above, Ivan and Nina are seen having a nice time. Ivan was Johnnie's best friend at the time when Johnnie and Nina were still very close while living in Sweden. Like in any other relationship, Johnnie and Nina got problems, he was deported for domestic violence.
Johnnie was able to establish himself while in Uganda something that made Nina want to get back with him but it was too late. Nina had now become very close to Ivan, they even wedded in church as part of the plan to have Ivan join Nina in Sweden where they could live as husband and wife.
Johnie is survived by two children, one was living with him and the other with his mom in Sweden. He will be laid to rest today in Ibanda, Western Uganda.
