Kamyuka charged with murder

Ivan Kamyuka the prime suspect in the Guvnor murder has this evening been charged with murder and remanded to Luzira Prison. Appearing before the Nakawa Grade One Magistrate, Christine Nantege, Kamyuka looked composed as the charge was being read to him.

Kamyuka (33), a Human Resource Manager of Lake Bounty Limited was clad in a grey hoodie as he was told that he has a case to answer following a bar brawl on Sunday morning at Guvnor that left Johnnie Ahimbisibwe dead. It's believed to be a crime of passion as Ivan is currently dating Johnnie's ex, there were lots of unresolved issues stemming from the child involved.

On the charge sheet, Kamyuka who is a resident of Kisaasi is accused of unlawfully killing Ahimbisibwe on Sunday morning at Guvnor in Kampala.

Johnnie was laid to rest today in Ibanda.
