"With heartfelt thanks I would like to thank you all for the success of the first ever PYJAMA PARTY in Uganda, Never would I have ever imagined such a great show up for a first time event! I cannot express the joy in my heart but most importantly I am thankful that you all came to support this party with a great cause! Thank you so much," the show host, Rita Kaggwa wrote on her wall. The dress code for this theme party was well understood but not followed by many. Apart from the host and a few revellers, most of them were in jeans and normal outfits. It was more complicated for those who had to use public transport to move around in see through and silk nighties all in the name of a theme party. Surprisingly, Rita's lover was one of those who did not respect the dress code, he was clad in a checkered jacket ready for a business meeting. Theme parties adopted from 'outside countries' have a tendency of not going into their second year and beyond. South African based Katsha brought in the Sushi Party which saw revellers eat snacks served on a 'tummy table', but it was the first and the very last one, Katsha won't even say a word regarding that party anyway, he is busy with his Lambo and Munyonyo projects.
