The announcement is coming on the very day Britain's biggest street party ended. The Notting Hill Carnival, the largest street festival in Europe was held on August 30 and 31, 2015 also known as the August Bank Holiday.

The Kampala festival borrows a leaf from the Notting Hill Carnival as bands move in a procession with different companies show casing their services, music, dance and culture is highlight of the event.
