Grammy award-winning RnB singer, Ne-Yo, was yesterday performing live at Lugogo cricket oval doing most of his hit songs that include; Let Me Love You, Give Me Everything, Sexy Love, One in a Million, Closer, Because of you and some from his Non Fiction album.
At about 10:30, Ne-Yo real name Shaffer Chimere Smith hit the stage following several performances from local stars, DJ mixes and Turbo Flow dancers who thrilled revelers with their dance moves. The show was hosted by ex-Big Brother star, Gaetano Kaggwa and a one Malaika Nyanzi.
Before he could start to perform, there was a 30 minute break as his crew was configuring the equipment that he was to use, it's no wonder, the sound was good attracting wild cheers from the packed crowd.
"It's my first time in Uganda and it will certainly not be the last," Neyo said leaving the ladies screaming..Coupled up revelers were seen singing to each other at this line..'Grab somebody sex.y tell em hey..give me everything tonight.."
One lucky fan went home with Neyo's black hat. His four queen dancers were gyrating to every move, he occasionally slapped on their b,utts during the performance..
Fans were dancing and singing along, it was the best show many seemed to say. Earlier in the day, it was raining heavily but this did not stop them from attending in big numbers, some even came in gum boots just in case it could rain cats and dogs but at exactly 20 minutes to midnight, NE-YO was done, it was money's worth.
DJ Shiru's session was arguably the best among the DJ's that included Stuart, Selector Jay and Crisio..Nutty Neithan kicked off with the local star performances dancing like he was making love only to wrap his session with Bakuwe kyonywa followed by Irene Ntale who needs to borrow a leaf from Swahili Nation when it comes to live performances.
Mun G was up next with Ki Ekiganye, Byayanga before paving way for Navio whose Nawulira song did the revellers just good. Then came Sheebah doing Go down low and then Sili Zari before shaking that b^^ty in her Nipe Yote song.
Cindy alongside her four queen dancers were next Sampling Dat, and then Ndimukodo that saw Navio bouncing back on stage to do his part in the Ndimukodo collaboration song.
Chameleone was the last one to perform among the local stars, clad in his red suit, he came doing a Vumulia cappella then Wale Wale, Gimme Gimme, Badilisha and Mama Mia.
