After his successful show at Lugogo Cricket Oval last Friday, it was time for Ne-Yo to catch up with the Kampala attractions. He stepped out clad in his long-johns that left many Kampalans excited, some actually thought they were leggings. The Let Me Love You singer was at National Theatre shopping for souvenirs that he will be taking with him. He also appreciated the art pieces while there..."I love Uganda, Amazing Ugandan art," he tweeted.
Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith later proceeded to Sky Lounge and Restaurant for lunch in the company of RnB singer, Navio, Maurice Kirya and promoter Ali Alybhai who was responsible for his coming to Kampala.
Ali Alibhai's pregnant wife also former Miss Uganda, Sylvia Namutebi, was more than excited to hang out with the Grammy award winner..
"What can I say... Ne-yo is one of the best celebrities I've ever met!! such a down to earth person, today we went shopping with his team for some Ugandan crafts and he kept saying Cong's to me and Aly! baby must be happy in the tummy.." Sylvia noted while sharing the Ne-Yo long John's pic
During the show, Ne-Yo told his fans that he was loving Kampala and much as this is his first time in Uganda, it won't be his last. Having spent Halloween night in Kampala, he did not forget his folks back home.."To my peeps in the States, Happy Halloween from the tin man aka ME! #TheWiz."
