The 12th MTN Kampala Marathon was held on Sunday, 22 November 2015. Over 20,000 runners participated in the marathon. This year's theme was; 'Run for Kampala'.

Proceeds from this year's marathon will go towards improving health in Kampala public schools.

Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso and Sheebah were some of the artists who entertained fans at Kololo Airstrip. Pallaso was also excited to see his dad, Gerald Mayanja, doing the 10km race.

Pallaso who is so proud of his dad wishes he can be like him when cloaking 70.

After successfully completing their 10km race, this man took the runners and his better-half by surprise when he proposed to her, she said YES!!!

Another collapsed along the way but was trying to resist being put in an ambulance when the rescue team came to his aid, he actually kicked some of them.

Some of the notable faces in the race included Vision Groups' Robert Kabushenga, Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura, KCCA's Executive Director Jenipher Semakula Musisi who flagged off the 21km race, it was an exciting moment as she was being taught how to fire a starter pistol.
