You almost bumped me off the road - MP Nabila Nagayi tells Leila Kayondo's ex-lover, SK Mbuga who was driving his Escalade at 100 miles per hour in a residential area, to be exact, the Buziga-Konge road.
While the MP survived being bumped off the road, one yet to be identified boda-boda rider was not lucky, he was sent flying off the road as he paved way to the speeding SUV. The MP who is in this case an eyewitness adds that the white Jeep was following the Escalade at highway speeds and to her surprise, they did not stop to help the rider who was yelling for help.
The MP who is vying for the Kampala Woman MP seat just reached out for her smart phone and made this post;
"SK MBUGA #DangerousRoadUser ! As we celebrate xmas lets mind other road users. You almost bumped me off the road, as u drove almost at 100kms per hour on the Buziga-Konge road. It's not a Motor Rally Day! A Boda Boda rider got seriously injured as he tried to avoid your Escalade! It's a nice car but you should not drive it as a weapon! You did not stop so I'll report that incident to Kabalagala Police Station! Go back and meet the medical expenses of the Boda Boda rider!"
Many seemed to applaud the MP on the move while others thought she could have done it in any other way other than using social media. It was not long before SK Mbuga got wind of this and his immediate response was; Is this a campaign stunt!
The MP was quick to let him know that she just wants him to go and attend to the boda-boda rider who was nursing injuries sustained from the speeding cars.
