FDC's Kizza Besgye at All Saints church

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential flag bearer in the just concluded Uganda elections, Kifefe-Kizza Besigye was today able to attend church after being prevented from leaving his house in the last five days.

Clad in a blue long-sleeved shirt, KB went to have his prayers at All Saints church in Nakasero which is a stone throw away from Nakasero State House. Outside the church, there was heavy deployment.

In the church, the reverend who was leading the service said that; "God wants Uganda to be his resting place for Jesus. God wants Uganda to be One Uganda One People moving forward with a steady progress."

On coming out, he was detained at Kiira Rd Police station as he confirms in his tweet a few minutes back.

"Glad that for first time in a week I left home. Attended All Saints church service. Now detained at Kiira Rd Police Stn."
