Chameleone VS. Airtel Uganda

On Monday, Airtel Uganda using their facebook profile had Jose Chameleone as their #MCM which means Man Crush Monday on social media which is pretty much okay but Chameleone felt this was not right considering that he has contracts with other telecom carriers.

"I wish to extend my gratitude to Airtel Uganda for the recognition of My works and featuring me on your social media.Thanks.I further want to remind the concerned that i am Brand Chameleone and wish you could consider that putting me on the Airtel Brand is Disturbing my other Telecom agreements.I am not a partner in any business with Airtel Uganda so I request this is considered."

"There should be an understanding between artistes and companies if you need to use names on Brand promotions," Chameloene concluded.

Airtel was left with no choice but to pull the post down and replace it with their brand ambassador, Eddy Kenzo and Navio as the #MCM. Navio and Kenzo's songs are ruling the airwaves at the moment. They went on to ask their followers otherwise referred to as Airtees which song they would make their caller tune between Navio's Njogereza and Kenzo's Soraye.
