Apass while appearing for the interview on Urban TV

Apass has not been able to concentrate on new music in the last few days as he's busy responding to fans who are bashing him for appearing on TV in Lugabire sandals. The Nva Kampala singer was a guest on Urban TV but his dress code has fans making their phone, tabs, android keyboards busy while commenting on the incident.

Some were actually thinking he was not prepared by the time he was called but the Wuuyo singer says that's him as he explains;

  • I am not a fashion monkey and I feel good when I put on African Crafts
  • I'm not an American, I'm not Kanye West nor I'm I Jay Z, I'm Apass and I don't follow style I do what makes me happy and comfortable.
  • When I go on TV, I feel at home so I find it okay to come in sandals and if you feel offended that I did not respect your feelings, I'm not a fashion monkey.

The Gamululu star went on to ask if anyone had a problem with his way of life?

The fans were kind to respond:

"Well I guess it ain't for your lifestyle or anything and not being rude but just saying..for the better of your own competence and public image, you needn't be a self made disgrace Apass, try hard to preserve your profile. You're a celebrity whom we all respect so if you opt out of respect for your owners self it's rather mind-blowing."

"If you ain't JZ or Kanye West, then you should stop using western instrumentation and autotune in your music cause you don't follow Western trends. Instead revert to African traditional instrumentation."

"This time I'm on your side. leave alone these celebs who hire shoes and clothes frm a boutique and after their exhibition, they don't pay the owner. You so called celebs, that's not modeling that you're advertising someone's stuff!  Be ur self. wama A PASS thanx fr being you."
