Why Frank Gashumba was fired from NBS TV

NBS TV has come out to clear the space on issues surrounding political activist, Frank Gashumba and why he will no longer be a panelist on the Eagle TV show.

In a recording he shared live on facebook yesterday (Mar 26), Gashumba said that he had resigned and not fired as it is widely believed and one of the reasons is that he stepped on a few toes of officials in the Mengo government as he explains below in a long post that can be got from his wall.

A day later, NBS TV has come out with an official statement on the subject matter saying that changes had to be made because one could hardly distinguish between a moderator and a panelist thus proposing changes which Gashumba did not like.

In the letter dated Mar 27, 2017 signed by the Chief Marketing Officer, Pamela Adong, it was noted that individuals had complained to management of the NBS TV station that Frank Gashumba had conned them.

"To NBS, Image is critical; and to this end, we are also reviewing the image of Mr. Frank Gashumba in relation to our brand over the flying allegations.."

It should be noted at this point that a one Benon has been on Frank Gashumba's case after he failed to refund his shs 2.5M/- but when Frank came out to respond he just branded him a 'piglet' and one thing has led to the other.

Finally, some think this is a deliberate move to stop Frank Gashumba from giving his negative reviews like he normally does anyway. At this rate, Gashumba will have to resort for YouTube.
