CEO of Pemba Sports Africa, Jack Pemba, has been dragged to the High Court for failing to clear an outstanding debt of close to 80 million.
Speedwing Travel Limited in a plaint filed to the High Court note that Jack Pemba and his better half Sheebah Kassami procured various tickets between August and September 2016 on credit but were just able to clear half the amount leaving a balance of shs 76 million.
The company has now asked court to issue a warrant of arrest to the duo on grounds that they can easily sell off their only property in Uganda and flee the country. Jack has ten days to respond.
