Pastor Yiga's ABS TV Suspended for 60 days
In a letter dated (Sep 5), the communications regulator, the Uganda Communication Commission (UCC) has written to the Manager of Auger Revival Ministries trading as ABS TV suspending their broadcasting license. The main reason is a breach of minimum broadcasting standards.
It's not the first time UCC is issuing these sort of letters to Pastor Yiga's TV station. In October 2016, ABS TV was fined 25million for broadcasting offensive programs.
The ABS TV license has now been suspended for a time when the commission is convinced that adjustments have been made in their programming.
The license could be revoked after 60 days provided the ABS management does not modify its programs to comply with the law.
A case in point, the lady in the pic comes on telly clad in a black short outfit and seconds into the show, she starts removing the black short dress to reveal another body-hugging white outfit underneath, As she is doing this, parents are busy stopping their children from watching lest she takes off everything.
Signal distributors have equally been asked to immediately disable ABS TV content from their platforms.
