Review by: Abbey Boris Mugerwa
She remains arguably a true love songbird in her own right. Betty Mpologoma verifies it that she is a no-novice when it comes to demonstrating her music potential. With her remarkable hits like ''Teri police'', ''kaneerage'' and ''Londa enumber yo''.
She is fully a certified musician who doesn't crave for fans but only listening to her music will drive one to her camp. To her installed fans she remains loyal to their hearts.
She has unveiled her latest single "Football" rocking the airwaves and has run for weeks on CBS and Ssuubi FM charts thrilling the ears of listeners who request for it repeatedly. This proves it that Betty is here to stay as she continues to hang on the microphone.
Unlike her usual praising love songs, in football, Betty turns her vibes to attacking ladies who devalue themselves by using their beauty and bodies towards men who use women just like one kicking a ball.
The lyrics befit Betty's well polished vocals the kind Afrigo band's Juanita Kawalya would approve. Travis Kazibwe a.k.a Dr Tee composed and wrote Football and with his expertise he produced it well and gave it an Afro-beat rhythmic tune which carries a danceable and an easy listening melody.
Betty is working on her new album coming out soon and she affirms that the debut album carries a total new sound and a real taste to her fans. "I have worked a lot on my coming album and it's going to sound unique to people's ears because I have changed my style."
Betty now embarks on her country tour with Dr Chameleon to promote her new single.
