CBS FM Radio is off air as a result of the impasse between the Government and the Buganda officials ahead of the visit of the Kabaka to his subjects in Bugerere. Government is still of the view that the Kabaka should not got to Bugerere because it is not safe to do so.

The strikes that paralysed Kampala on Thursday afternoon left 4 people dead. According to the Broadcasting Council, CBS Radio is the one that made those announcements that led to the strikes in the process loss of lives.

Police vehicles, police and military vehicles blocked the katikiro from proceeding to Bugerere ahead of the Kabaka's visit. Government is still in consultations for the involved parties to have an understanding before the Kabaka visits Bugerere.
