Mogas Petrol station around Entebbe International Airport had huge flames this morning as a result of a fuel truck bursting into flames. The flames were so close to the Airport that those at the airport had to run for safety as many suspected an attack of sorts at the only Uganda International Airport.
The fire was swiftly contained by the Airport Fire Brigade team promptly stopping it from spreading to other neighbouring areas which include main fuelling reservoir and pumping installations and the airport itself.
Work at the airport has resumed normally though it is not clear at this time if any flights would be affected by the fire that broke out in the morning hours of Saturday morning.
