Pic: Dr. Jose Chameleone in Arua
Jose Chameleone was involved in a fresh scuffle this time round with his hair stylist. Last Wednesday, the Vumilia star refused to pay Ugx: 120,000/- for styling his hair insisting that he was aware of 60,000/- as opposed to the 120,000/- he was being charged.

All this happened at Bridal Care Waxing Salon at Katatumba Suites when Chameleone demanded that he needed to talk to the Saloon owner Mutesi Patricia but the hair dresser insisted that he had to clear the entire bill before he could move a step.

Chameloene punched the hair dresser to the ground but before he could drive away cyclists and boda boda men had surrounded his monster Escalade. He phoned Patricia who came to his rescue but insisted the increment was not well communicated, so he released 200,000/- to Patricia.

He fled off minus clearing his parking tickets. He is currently on a European tour.

On Saturday, Maria Namiiro was crowned Miss Uganda 2009 to the outrage pf many. On mentioning that she was the winner, some people walked out in protest. "This Miss UG 2009 is a Kiwaani. I have every reason to believe that Maria was brought on board by the organizers, the same organizers for Miss Uganda UK, to qualify her for the Miss World Pageant," one guest commented before storming out.

Maria has the brains and beauty but some doubted whether she is the best candidate to represent Uganda at this year's Miss World. She is Ugandan fine, but she is UK born and raised. She does not know much about the Ugandan culture, can't even pronounce her Luganda name Namiiro.

When she says Namiiro it is like she has said Niburu, another furious guest added.

She is Uganda's fashion mogul and a female icon for many a woman she has conquered the fashion scene not only in Uganda but in the region as well. She is the proprietor of Sylvie's Boutique, Zipa Models and African Woman Magazine.

She is currently organizing the Bride and Groom fashion show at UMA show grounds under her company Owori Media.

SP: Who is Sylvie?
Sylvie: My Dad was Luo, my mum Ruth Nankya is a Muganda. I was brought up a traditional Muganda, I actually kneel when I'm greeting my mum. She was a single mother and raised seven of us, of which I'm the second born.

SP: How did you come to get into the running of Miss Uganda?
Sylvie: After I had the agency, in 2001, I wondered what event I could do. Miss Uganda hadn't run for four years. I applied to Miss World for the franchise which became medium to showcase my clothes.

SP: Why did you give it up?
Sylvie: I did Miss Uganda to my best. I felt there was only one girl that benefited at the end of it all. I wanted more to be able to benefit. I decided to do the African Woman Magazine; a voice for every woman.

SP: What is your take on Miss Uganda since you left?
Sylvie: These days you don't even get to know when Miss Uganda will take place. People are trying to revive it but it is a big project. It should be a national event-for all people but that is not being done lately.

SP: Are you dating, Married, or single?
Sylvie: Iam engaged to Per Munk-Nielsen. We have been dating for 11 years now. My Kwanjula was in 2002. We have a son Adam(2 years) and baby on the way.

SP: Why have you taken long to get married?
Sylvie: I'm not your typical girl who fantasizes about weddings. We are staying together and I feel like I'm married.

Word sipping in from South African snoops indicates that celebrated Traditionist Shaba lost his temper last Saturday at Cape Town during a music show and beat up his fiance Zarina Muhammad, in front of her fans.

It all started when she went to chat with some Ugandan guy, asking how things were moving on back in Uganda. Love smitten and tight marking lover boy Shaba could not stomach the way Zarina was flattering the Ugandan boy.

He hastily jumped up from his seat and pounced on her. He started thumping her seriously, and even decreed a condition  on her that she must choose between marriage and music, saying he can't stand the way she's flirting with musicians, and how they touch her.

The two were separated by bouncers before incensed Ivan tore her into pieces.

UPC Presidential hopeful Olara Otunnu is proud of coming back home after a long time struggling and suffering in exile. The dark skinned fellow was welcomed back by a few UPC  old men that flocked Entebbe Airport and caused a stampede at the VIP terminal.

He came back into the country to have a political-feel of the harsh environment Besigye has tested. He was refused to hold a press conference at the Airport because of security reasons. He held his press conference at Imperial Botanical Beach in Entebbe and even refused to drink Ugandan bottled mineral water.

He was given one water bottle but he walked away minus touching it. Our high placed snoops later revealed that the old man is too conscious about his life and is scared that his enemies may poison him through food. He thus refrains from any beverage, food and refreshments served at any function he attends.

Brenda clad in a hat and Helen

Word gathered by our diligent snoops indicates that Obsessions manager Ali and manager to H.B Toxic girls Brenda and Helen is massively enjoying his role as 'manager'. Apparently this sleek fellow has been known to be very intimately and passionately close to Brenda for quite some time even before she broke away from the Obsessions.

He has been funding the HB Toxic shows and takes great care of the girls mutually and financially. However, recently, It was discovered that Ali simultaneously enjoys the fruits of both Toxic girls and though they both know it , it's kept a deep secret between them, since he's their manager.

Meanwhile, Helen has been smoked out on several occasions  intimately cozying up with upcoming musician Tonix and our snoops wonder if she's also juggling Ali with Tonix. Its a love Katogo!

            Sylvia OworiMariam Ndagire
City socialite and fashion designer Sylvie Owori is preggie and fit to burst with child. What is most astounding however is the paternity of the child. Apparently, Sylvia's longtime white boyfriend we hear has another family in London, so the two can't get legally married because he even wears a wedding band on his finger.

More shocking is the revelation that Sylvie's first son resembles Mayor Seya Sebagala, as intimated by those who have seen the boy. On the other hand Film actress, producer and song bird Mariam Ndagire is rumored to be preggie though the paternity of the child is yet to be identified.

Mariam has of recent been spotted hobnobbing in on and off intimately cozy meetings with city lover and once boyfriend John Segawa. We wonder how long they will last this time.

Word reaching us from Bebe and Zuena's love pad indicates that Zuena snubbed Bebe's efforts to catch up on lost love by refusing to go with him on a short holiday in Mombasa. Bebe had hoped to go with Zuena and family to Mombasa for a short four day holiday, but apparently Zuena claims she has to present K-Files on Friday with Karitas on WBS, so there's no way she can go.

She also added that she had just come back into the country after traveling to Rwanda with Karitas, something that leaves Bebe with a jolt in the guts because he's not comfortable with Zuena's relationship with Karitas.

Goodlfe stars have for the first time come out and are denying any rift between them and money bags Charlie Lubega. Following reports that the singers fell out with Charlie Lubega who owns the number one night spot Ange Noir over a woman, the musicians have now come out and claim Charlie is one man they look up to and is actually their friend.

The stars say that their problem is not Charlie but Kato who manages the club and fellow artist Jose Chameleone. They accuse Chameleone of paying the club DJ's not to play their songs. They also added that they do not initiate fight as it is widely believed.

It is for this very reason that they do not move around with bouncers like other artistes.

Kamunye a Luganda political tabloid has hit the market today. It is hot sleazy and going for only 1,000/- It is a fully fledged weekly Luganda News paper that will kill boredom of all those who get themselves a copy. The political tabloid will be different from other newspapers in the country since it won't delve into trivial, dirty and rotten stuff.

It will be an interesting publication that the readers will have to include on their daily menu as an apetiser. The UOWD Team were able to grab volume1, Issue No.1 Wednesday, September 02-08 2009. The lead story was "Bannanyini Kintu Baabano"-Abalala Bakirimu Bubeezi. Five photographs of those running the "Kintu" are on the first page and these are Salim Saleh, Amelia Kyambadde, Sam Kutesa, Mbabazi and Muhoozi. The rest bakirimu bubeezi.

Other sections in the Kamunye are: Kobajjamuti, Amabaluwa, Kawomera, Kafumisi, Toofa Empewo and Embooko plus sports of course. This will be a perfect competitor to Bukedde which has been more or less the only Luganda paper on the market.

Zuena and Karitas were last week in Kigali something that led to Bebe Cool being admitted. On Friday the pair were sighted together but this time in wilderness. They spent the weekend in Mabira forest having fun but this time round with a mystery young lad.

It is not clear if the "Agenze" star will collapse this time but he won't certainly like it because there were a lot of horny loaded men that were present. Zuena looked relaxed all through and bothered about anything.

Bebe Cool who was discharged on Wednesday was busy performing at the Zain launch with Your Stars promotion. The Dance with Your Stars Promotion left many in Mbale yearning for more. The Obsessions, Maisha and HB Toxic dancers overwhelmed the crowd with their erotic grooves as they opened their thighs wide to expose their goodies that made males unstable and wail with a lot of excitement.
